I just sent myself five of these. none of them came through.

I just did this myself last night and out of the ten ask I sent myself only one came through.

Before everyone panics! Yes, Tumblr’s notification system barely functions, but the situation with asks isn’t as dire as it seems! There’s a flaw with the method the OP suggested to test your inbox: Tumblr filters out one-character asks. In other words, if you send yourself individual messages with only the numbers 1 through 10 in them, you’ll only receive the last message! I did this to myself to confirm, and lo and behold, only received number ten. But when I sent myself the first line of All-Star?

Everything is there!!!

So, the TLDR: If you want to test your inbox, send yourself an ask with at least two characters!
