I have this thing where when I nickname Pokémon I either give them a human name or something really random, so I end up introducing them to people like, “These are two of my Pokémon, Fred and Toaster,” and it’s kinda hilarious. (Fred is a Samurott and Toaster is a Lucario if you need help picturing that.)

Quite frankly, these are perhaps the best nicknames I have ever heard for a samurott and lucario.

I stole a houndour because its owner was going to enter it in something called the death ring, that and it was also malnourished and had cloudy eyes

Give yourself some credit, @marcusredleaf. You didn’t steal that houndour. You rescued it and, perhaps (and hopefully), introduced its trainer to a comfortable life with guaranteed shelters and meals within their nearest prison.

Hi, Bill! My boyfriend’s Mime Jr. /loves/ to mimic him, so my boyfriend got him a phone (since he was getting frustrated that he couldn’t mimic properly without a prop), and my boyfriend checks his activity every now and then, and he’s self-downloaded so many apps, and he even made friends with a Buneary named Claire over in Sinnoh! (We’re in Unova, for reference), and I’m sure he’d be more than happy to take a quiz. Cheers!

Ah. This seems to have been an ask meant for that period of time wherein people sent in stories about their pokémon using technology. Terribly sorry for missing it!

But I must say it’s wonderful to hear that technology bridges gaps between pokémon just as much as it does for people.

I have a team made up of 5 pokemon that evolve through friendship and one very enthusiastic growlithe and wanted to say that (except for the growlithe) everyone’s fully evolved and I’m so proud of my pokemon!!

To be honest, anonymous, I’m proud of your pokémon too. They sound utterly delightful!

I have a blissey who has actually adapted, adopted and invented several different ways for her, her kids and my other pokemon to interact with technology including figuring how how to play games on console. To the point of being a bit of a backseat driver when I’m trying to enjoy doom. Although their tips have proven handy.

I must admit, the idea of a blissey playing Doom is rather amusing. Not entirely surprising, of course, because there are quite a few blissey in the league circuit who are known for their insatiable blood lusts, but.

My delcatty doesn’t understand technology but she understands attention, so she will lie down on my keyboard when she thinks I’m too focused on my PC and not enough on her. Also when she was a Skitty she would attack the players when we were watching soccer. I liked to pretend she was rooting for one of the teams, and attacking the other. She stopped once we got a new TV though

One time I noticed my laptop was running low on storage so I said “Oh dang I’m almost out of megabytes” and my Cleffa responded by biting my laptop. The edge of my screen was covered in Cleffa saliva, but he was still a very good boy.

My Nidorino doesn’t know how to type, but the rhythmic clicking always lulls him to sleep! And if I am ever on my phone for too long without giving him chin rubs, he will oh so gently use his beak to take it from my hands. Always placed gently on the floor too. He’s a kind soul!
